I trained and worked as a flute teacher but have drawn and painted all my life, having come from an artistic family.

Certain images appear in my work again and again - the maze, streets, horses and people's faces.They spring unbidden to my mind and are like tolling bells commenting on the ridiculousness or futility of our lives.What is unexpected and gratifying is that people often find some of them humorous and even quite funny.
